Why should I book a cuddle therapist?
Lack of touch can lead to illness, anger and a compromised immune system. It can also lead to loneliness and isolation. In the modern world where there is a huge disconnect between people, I exist. I am the bridge between lack of comfort, touch and healing and the isoaltion and touch staravation. You need hugs to thrive. Not just survive.
Is cuddle therapy a sexual in nature?
NO. It is platonic and not sexual in any way. Any attempt to make it sexual is strictly
prohibited.
What do I wear?
Think comfort. Long shorts, PJ's, t-shirts. I do not mind my clients having exposed arms if they need more skin to skin contact.
What if I fall asleep?
Not a worry. Heaps of my clients fall asleep while being held and comforted. I have calming music in the background and a comfortable space.
What if I feel uncomfortable at any stage during my session?
You are welcome to speak up and voice your concerns. I will work with you to help you calm down or to try something different.
Am I allowed to touch you?
While, yes you will technically be touching me, it is a one way therapy session. I will be touching you, provide a safe space for healing and helping you to connect, calm down and receive touch therapy as a healing modality. I am your therapist and you are the patient. You are here to receive and not to lead the session.
Are there any medical conditions that may prevent someone from receiving cuddle therapy?Individuals with certain medical conditions, such as skin allergies and infections, may not be suitable candidates for cuddle therapy. Please inform me if you have any medical conditions that may not be suitable for this style of therapy. If in doubt, please ask me.
May I see you on a regular basis?
Yes, of course.
Do you travel?
Yes. With enough notice I am available all over Australia and Internationally by invite. The associated costs with this type of bookign will need to be covered by the client.
